Your 10 days of discovering Uganda will uncover for you what Uganda has to Offer. You will visit one  of the top selling destinations in the country and that is Bwindi Impenetrable Park and enjoy the Mountain  Gorilla tracking experience. Other places like Fort Portal, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Bunyonyi  and Lake Mburo National Park will be visited as well in the 10days.

DAY 1: DESTINATION: ENTEBBE

One of our tour guides will be ready to receive you at Entebbe international Airport as soon as you arrive. You will drive out of the airport to the hotel where you will spend the night. The journey will be graced with stunning views of the big Lake Victoria which starts from a few metres outside the airport. Check in the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

DAY 2: DESTINATION: FORT PORTAL

You will start your second day with breakfast as you plan to drive towards Fort Portal, a city well known for giving tourists beautiful memories. Fort Portal is very vibrant and welcoming; it is dotted with a number of crater lakes which make it special. On arrival, you will have lunch and a visit to the crater lakes later in the afternoon. Retire at the lodge for the night.

DAY 3: DESTINATION: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Arise and start your day with a tasty African breakfast at the lodge as you get ready to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. it is located in the western part of Uganda lying between lakes Edward and George. This park is home to 618 bird species, 10 primates including chimpanzees and 95 mammals making it a good place for adventure. On arrival to the park, you will have lunch before you go out for a boat launch on the Kazinga channel. The boat cruise will give you a better view of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos and others. After the cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: DESTINATION: ISHASHA SECTOR (SOURTHERN PART OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK)

Enjoy your morning meal at the lodge prior to going out for today’s activity. You will go for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see what the park has in stock. You will have a chance to see many wild animals like lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, hippos, topis and many others. After the game drive, you will transfer to the southern part of the park which is called the Ishasha sector.
Ishasha sector is known for its tree climbing lions which you will not find anywhere in the country. Check in the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: DESTINATION: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Today after having your breakfast, you will go out for a game drive to see the tree climbing lions. You will view these lions up lying and hanging on the big fig trees relaxing and waiting to get food. They feed on antelopes which come around to graze on the savannah grasslands of Ishasha. After the game viewing you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in south western Uganda at the junction of the plains and rain forests. Bwindi is re known for the mountain gorillas; it is a habitat to more than half of the world mountain gorillas. Anyone should not miss a visit to these gentle giants. When you reach the park, you will check in the lodge for your night’s stay. Bwindi has sectors like Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhoma and Nkuringo, so you will stay where you will be doing the gorilla tracking from. Luxury: Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs

DAY 6: DESTINATION: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Today after breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters to be briefed by the park rangers before you go for the unforgettable gorilla tracking experience. After the briefing, the guide will walk with you through the thick forests as you look for the mountain gorillas which live in families just like human beings. When you finally meet them, the feeling is so exciting. You will spend some time with the gorillas, watch them play, rest, and feed young ones. You will later return to the lodge for the night.

DAY 7: DESTINATION: LAKE BUNYONYI

Come to light, it is another beautiful morning. Have breakfast and check out of the lodge and get ready to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the place of many little birds. Lake Bunyonyi is the most loved lake in Uganda because it offers tourists an opportunity to explore and encounter breath taking vistas and colorful sunsets. In the afternoon you will have a launch cruise on Lake Bunyonyi which will give you long term memories. You are encouraged to carry some snacks and cameras to make the cruise more enjoyable. Retire at the lodge for the night.

DAY 8: DESTINATION: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

This morning after enjoying your breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest park in the country but the closest to Kampala and Entebbe. On arrival to the park, you will have lunch and later an evening game drive through the savannah grasslands of the park. The park is endowed with several
wildlife species like zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, water busks, antelopes, oribis and many others which you will see on the game drive. At the end of the day, you will have dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

DAY 9: DESTINATION: ENTEBBE

Have breakfast at the lodge then go out for horseback riding through the park. This is a very exciting activity since it makes one feel the nature in this place. You will ride your horse close to the shyest animals like the antelopes and the zebras which will give you a closer view of them before they run away or try to keep a distance. After this adventure safari, you will embark on your return journey to Entebbe where you will spend the night.

DAY 10: DESTINATION: ENTEBBE

As you enjoy your final day of discovering Uganda, you will wake up at leisure and have breakfast, then take some time off to relax at the beach in Entebbe. The beach experience will help you relax as you wait for your departure flight. Your driver/tour guide will be ready to transfer you to the airport for your return flight.
