Day 1 : Casablanca Airport - Casablanca city

  • Mohammed V International Airport : You will be welcomed by your driver /guide in the airport of Mohamed 5 in Casablanca and take you to your hotel in Casablanca. Overnight in the hotel. Our driver will wait for you in the door outside of the airport of Casablanca following your flight arival time with a signe with the name of our Agency Morocco Sahara Desert Travel (MSDT)
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Hotel Campanile Casablanca Centre Ville

Day 2 : Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

  • Hassan II Mosque : In the morning you will start your trip to visit the biggest mosque in Casablanca, Hassan 2 Mosque. Then you will go to the capital of Morocco “Rabat”.
  • Rabat : Once in Rabat you will visit Hassan Tower, Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah.
  • Chefchaouen : Getting Chefchaouen a bit early to have time to walk inside the blue alleys of the medina, take pictures and experience the local food of the little city. Overnight in the hotel
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Hotel Molino Garden in Chefchaouen.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen - Fez

  • Chefchaouen : Today in Chefchaouen You will have free time all the morning to visit the blue city. It is a city located in the Rif Mountains, north-west of Morocco. It is famous for the remarkable buildings of different tones of faded blue of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled alleys. In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the casbah with red walls, fortress and keep of the fifteenth century with ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there. Then after lunch continue traveling to Fez.
  • Fes : Overnight in Fes
  • Accommodation: Overnight at the Riad Lalla Zoubida in Fes.

Day 4 : Fes - Fes

  • Fes : After breakfast in your Riad, you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 14th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest one in the world, the Tanneries and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight at the same Riad.
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Riad Lalla Zoubida in Fes.
      Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 : Fez – Ifran – Cedar Forest – Midlt - Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

  • Ifrane : After breakfast, you will leave Fes travelling towards Merzouga via Ifran, Midelt and the Ziz valley. Today you will travel via the Ifrane city, a beautiful mountain village, named the Switzerland of Morocco.
  • Cedre Gouraud Forest : Here you will also stop at the cedar forest on the middle Atlas Mountains. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains and stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest one in Morocco – where you will have the opportunity to see the Barbary apes (Monkeys).
  • Midelt: Time for lunch in Midelt. Lunch is not included.
  • Fleuve de Ziz: After lunch in Midelt, you’ll be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, seeing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the province of the south-east Errachidia city. Afterwards, you’ll travel along the fantastic Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.
  • Merzouga: Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Then take camel ride in the dunes of Sahara Desert of Merzouga to reach the camp where you will have the night.
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Azawad Standard Berber Camp in Sahara Desert of Merzouga Erg Chebbi Dunes.

Day 6 : Fez – Ifran – Cedar Forest – Midlt - Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert of Merzouga

  • Erg Chebbi : Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what will may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses.
  • Todgha Gorge : Todgha gorges – are the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley.
  • Dades Gorges: Dades Valley, is the place where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy Hotel / Riad overlooking the Dades Valley with diner and breakfast.

Day 7 : Dades Valley- Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou – Marrakech

  • Boumalne Dades : After breakfast in your accommodation, you will start travelling through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. The road through Dades Valley is called the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. You will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna -the centre of rose’s valley-, where you will have the option to visit the cooperative for the roses, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over
  • Ouarzazate : Ouarzazate is a city south of the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Its huge Kasbah of Taourirt, home to a 19th century palace, offers a view of the surrounding rocky landscape, which appears in several films. As well as you can visit Cenima Musem. To the northwest is the fortified city in the red earth of Ait-Ben-Haddou
  • Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou: This is a striking example of traditional southern Moroccan architecture, on the side of a hill at the top of which was a collective attic. The village is a group of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, the ksar, which is a type of traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses are grouped within its defensive walls reinforced by corner towers. Some of its dwellings seem to be small castles with their high towers decorated with raw brick designs. The oldest constructions date from the seventeenth century.
  • High Atlas Mountains: Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have the opportunity to explore the process of producing the Argan oil- existing only in morocco – by Berber women in their cooperative
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Riad Dar Nadwa in Marrakech

Day 8 :> Marrakech - Marrakech Sightseeing

  • Marrakech : After breakfast in the Riad / Hotel, you will start exploring Marrakech; «the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city.
    • Accommodation: Overnight at the Riad Dar Nadwa in Marrakech.

Day 9 :Transfer to the Airport

  • Mohammed V International Airport : Transfer to Casablanca Airport Or Marrakech Airport depends on your flight back location and time.
  • Casablanca: Transfer to your Hotel in Casablanca in case you will stay in the hotel in Casablanca.
  • Marrakesh Menara Airport: Transfer to Marrakech Airport or Casablanca Airport depends on your flight back location and time.
